I watched part of the Labor Day Celebration held in Detroit. I watched Jimmy Hoffa tell the crowd, regarding the Tea Party, “It’s time we took those Son of a Bitches out.” A remark like that only stirs people up to the point they will come after you and the Tea Party will do it via the Ballot Box. Hoffa also made the remark that we, meaning the crowd, needs to get middle class America back on track. Mr. Hoffa I would like to inform you that the majority of the Tea Party is the middle class. They have stood by for many years watching the government spend our tax dollars, deny we are a Christian nation and push for redistribution of money. Some of that money, Social Security, Medicare goes to illegal aliens and to people who are too lazy to go out and look for a job. The Liberal ideology is not working and the Liberals know this. They lash out at people like the Tea Party knowing full well that a group like the Tea Party can swing an election, look at last November.
I find that Left Wing organizations do not have the membership they would like you to think they have. They are very vocal and one would think they are a strong organization. The labor Unions are in this category, Union membership is down by 9.9% over the past ten years. This is why they are pushing for the Card Check in the workplace. Boost membership, and I don’t know if they will get that through. There is no doubt in my mind that Obama is in bed with them. They are his special interest group and he is sucking up to them. One Union, SEIU gave Obama $61 million dollars when he ran for president.
The Unions have a strangle hold on local government and school districts. A lot of local governments do not have the funds to have a Labor Relations Attorney on board 24/7. The elected officials don’t know how to negotiate with Unions and usually roll over to keep the peace. When they have a hard time meeting budgets, then they find that the union contract is eating up the majority of the funds. School district are about the same, a majority of the school administrators are ex-union members and will take to the School Board a proposal that will keep the teachers happy and the tax payers unhappy.
The unions, federal regulations and high corporate taxes have driven a lot of companies overseas to seek out cheaper employees and get their products on the street. All three have, in my opinion, caused this economy to go south.
Thursday night Obama went to a joint session of Congress with a plan to put America back to work. He wants to put $450 Billion into infrastructure in the country. Repair and rebuild roads, bridges, and schools, put teachers back into the classrooms and keep collective bargaining alive and well. It was put out last week the funding would be going to targeted areas, in other words not every State, City or County will reap the benefits of the money. I’m only guessing here that the money will go to areas that are heavy union population and full of Democratic voters. To me it sounds like another stimulus fund for shovel ready projects where the union members are the ones picking up the shovels.
Last Monday the US Chamber of Commerce sent a letter to Congress with their plan to put America back to work. The plan called for 11 Million people back to work. Romney’s plan will put 8 Million back to work and Obama’s plan will only put 1.5 Million back to work.
Mr. Obama you are totally unqualified to remain in the position as President. You are blinded by Special Interests, the Unions. You are hoping they carry you for another four years. You are the one who campaigned to keep Special Interest out of the White House and not let it run the government. You are speaking out of both sides of your mouth, more smoke and Teleprompters from you.
In your speech on putting America back to work, you didn’t tell us how you are going to pay for it. I know you want to cut my tax but you also want to tax the rich. I don’t know what it is about you liberals that want to put the burden of your mismanagement on people who have made something of themselves. Those people you want to put the pressure on to fund your fiasco are the same ones who kept this economy going; until government put so many regulations on them they quit hiring and are waiting to see if the general public will can you next year.
The meeting with the joint session of Congress was nothing more than a re-election campaign speech. I’m sure he saw the Republican debates on Wednesday and was not happy with what he heard. One thing about the Republicans they are all united to dump Obama out of office. If there was a debate between Obama, and either, Romney, Perry or Bachman, they would take Obama to the Out-House and stick him in the hole. He has zero knowledge on Foreign Relations, Economy, Military, Defense and life in general.
Last week I mentioned that a company in California who was a leader (?) in the Green energy and was praised by Obama for the work they do. They were given a half of billion dollars by the Energy Department at Obama’s recommendation. Well they laid off 1100 workers filed bankruptcy and were raided by the FBI on Tuesday or Wednesday. Score one for Obama and his experience in business.
